This map of Minnesota shows general rates of disability across the state at the county level. Disability rates are broken into four categories, from 6.5 to 19.1%

The five largest urban areas (Duluth, St. Cloud, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Mankato, and Rochester) are labeled to show if there are any differences between disability rates in urban vs rural areas. Disability rates tend to be higher in rural areas than urban ones. The lowest rates, of 6.5 to 10.9%, are mainly found in the urban counties in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, encompassing St. Cloud, Mankato, and Rochester. Rates are higher north of St. Cloud, and most northern counties have rates of either 14.2 to 19.1% or 12.6 to 14.1%, the highest and second-highest rates.

In the upper corner is an inset map of the United States showing how overall general disability rates in Minnesota compare to the rest of the country. Overall, general disability rates in Minnesota are in the lowest category (out of four) compared to the rest of the U.S.
