Register now for the September Working Well with a Disability facilitator training

Fall is just around the corner. That means back to school, changing leaves, pumpkin spice-flavored everything and… Working Well with a Disability Facilitator Training!

Working Well with a Disability is an evidence-based, peer-facilitated workshop that is focused on improving health in preparation for, or to maintain, employment. RTC:Rural provides training and certification to service providers to conduct the workshops.

Registration for the September 2018 Working Well with a Disability online facilitator training is now open. The training will take place the week of Sept. 17, and registration closes on Sept. 10. Follow the link below to register.

Healthy Community Living Program Releases Video Series Showcasing Development

Curious about what goes into creating a program like Healthy Community Living (HCL)?

The HCL program recently released three videos that give a glimpse of the thousands of hours of dedicated work that have gone into it so far. The videos feature RTC:Rural staff, Mary Olson-Willard from the Association of Programs for Rural Independent Living (APRIL), University of Montana students, and staff from the University of Montana’s School of Extended and Lifelong Learning. An Interview with Staff Members of Able South Carolina
