ProjectsCurrent Projects Implement RTC:Rural's economic development process in a rural community by providing off-site technical assistance and guidance as needed to disability professionals and team and community leaders as they follow the steps outlined in our previously developed and tested Rural Community Economic Development Process and Guidebook. Past Projects Evaluated the effectiveness of a rural community economic development program led by people with disabilities to create new business and employment opportunities for the entire community. Explored the potential roles of people with disabilities, rural independent centers, and vocational rehabilitation programs in providing economic development leadership in small, rural communities. |
