People with disabilities in rural America want to take part in community life and live independently. In order to do so, they may need community services, support and advocacy to help meet their needs. RTC: Rural’s research on community participation and independent living focuses on the places in which people with disabilities live, the resources available to them and the accessibility of rural community life.
