Number and Percent of FBOs (by Rothauge's Typology) Endorsing Barriers to Providing Transportation. A "Family Church" has between one an fifty members. Nineteen family churches (37.1 percent of responding family churches) said that providing transportation is not in their mission. Thirty-six family churches (60 percent of family churches responding) cited liability as a barrier to providing transportation. Thirty-three family churches (55 percent of responding family churches) said that providing transportation was too much of a "stretch" for them. Thirty family churches (50 percent of responding family churches) said they lack the skills to provide transportation. Fifty family churches (83.3 percent of responding family churches) lack enough staff to provide transportation. Fifty-five family churches (91.7 percent of family churches responding) lacked the money to provide transportation. Twenty-four family churches (40 percent of responding family churches) said that "government" was a barrier to providing transportation. Five family churches (8.3 percent of responding family churches) cited church policy as a barrier to providing transportation.

A "Pastoral Church" has between 51 and 150 members. Thirty-three pastoral churches (40.7 percent of responding pastoral churches) said that providing transportation is not in their mission. Forty-six pastoral churches (56.8 percent of pastoral churches responding) cited liability as a barrier to providing transportation. Forty-seven pastoral churches (58 percent of responding pastoral churches) said that providing transportation was too much of a "stretch" for them. Forty-seven pastoral churches (58 percent of responding pastoral churches) said they lack the skills to provide transportation. Sixty-two pastoral churches (76.5 percent of responding pastoral churches) lack enough staff to provide transportation. Seventy-four pastoral churches (91.4 percent of pastoral churches responding) lacked the money to provide transportation. Thirty pastoral churches (37 percent of responding pastoral churches) said that "government" was a barrier to providing transportation. Five pastoral churches (6.2 percent of responding pastoral churches) cited church policy as a barrier to providing transportation.

A "Program Church" has between 151 and 350 members. Nineteen program churches (39 percent of responding program churches) said that providing transportation is not in their mission. Eighteen program churches (43.9 percent of program churches responding) cited liability as a barrier to providing transportation. Twenty-one program churches (51.2 percent of responding program churches) said that providing transportation was too much of a "stretch" for them. Twenty program churches (48.8 percent of responding program churches) said they lack the skills to provide transportation. Thirty program churches (73.2 percent of responding program churches) lack enough staff to provide transportation. Thirty-five program churches (85.4 percent of program churches responding) lacked the money to provide transportation. Ten program churches (24.4 percent of responding program churches) said that "government" was a barrier to providing transportation. Two program churches (4.9 percent of responding program churches) cited church policy as a barrier to providing transportation.

A "Corporate Church" has 351 or more members. Seventeen corporate churches (39.5 percent of responding corporate churches) said that providing transportation is not in their mission. Twenty corporate churches (46.5 percent of corporate churches responding) cited liability as a barrier to providing transportation. Thirteen corporate churches (30.2 percent of responding corporate churches) said that providing transportation was too much of a "stretch" for them. Eighteen corporate churches (41.9 percent of responding corporate churches) said they lack the skills to provide transportation. Twenty-eight corporate churches (65.1 percent of responding corporate churches) lack enough staff to provide transportation. Thirty-four corporate churches (79.1 percent of corporate churches responding) lacked the money to provide transportation. Fourteen corporate churches (32.6 percent of responding corporate churches) said that "government" was a barrier to providing transportation. Three corporate churches (7 percent of responding corporate churches) cited church policy as a barrier to providing transportation.

Overall, 91 churches (38.4% of respondents) said that transportation is not in their mission. 127 churches (53.6 percent of respondents) cited liability as a barrier to providing transportation. 117 churches (49.4 percent of respondents) said that providing transportation was too much of a "stretch" for them. 121 churches (51.1 percent of respondents) said they lack the skills to provide transportation. 178 churches (75.1 percent of respondents) lack enough staff to provide transportation. 207 churches (87.3 percent of respondents) lacked the money to provide transportation. Eighty-one churches (34.2 percent of respondents) said that "government" was a barrier to providing transportation.
